Bitter Truth & Belated Birthday
Well, I didn't forget that I completed 7 years of blogging on Everything@Once, the situations concerning my country prevented me from writing anything. In the last seven years, I have witnessed diabolical changes globally. The hate can almost be felt everyday in the form of news and social media. I don't consider myself too political, I do consider myself as a voter and my rational demands that I vote for development, peace and welfare. Sadly, I can't see any of the three happening in my state.
Instead every morning I wake up to news of violence, bloodshed and crashing economy. Why are you surprised, Vidushi? This has been happening since Independence some would say. They are not wrong, it has been ongoing. I just have been identifying bigotry in personal space and people. It's unbelievable how educated people can make peace with violence by labeling it as "bold steps" by the government. How media outlets will report false news to their viewers. It's sad, truly.
On top of this, nature has decided to rid herself from those who destroyed her piece by piece. I don't have to remind you the affects of climate change and possible future if we don't do anything, but now I find myself asking, is there a future? Because honestly, I don't see any.
As a self proclaimed flag bearer of hope, I wonder if this is the death of everything? Starting from our constitution to the Australian Bush-fires. The aftermath is not hard to guess, but I hope to write & see the contrary.
xx
