The Quintessential Classroom : First Day

Old wooden desks with metal clasp as one would have seen on Malgudi Days, a mildly discomforting office where underpaid employees try to be as friendly as possible(mostly miserably failing) nevertheless it seems all perfect to me. Isn't that's how it supposed to be anyway. Things are changing  too, new classes and toilets are being added as the student number rises every year.

What never changes is the bustle in the canteen which never really seems to die out. The library on the contrary is the place for ideal solace. It's also the place where I was introduced to John Donne and his The Good Morrow.

After reading Donne I felt that I was in a nice space until the rumours tuned themselves and I rushed for the class that was supposed to be an hour later. Luckily, I didn't miss it. I also reconciled with my mother tongue after almost five years of non-verbal separation.

It wasn't all roses and sunshine, but it wasn't even a disaster. There are going to be tales everywhere, in every corner, who all can I listen? Not everyone to be very honest. But I will give it a go...
