League of Lovers *3rd Anniversary Edition*

Blogie turns three tomorrow and fortunately I have something interesting to present. Thanks to Divyansh Verma's awesomeness and creativity; he unintentionally derived a crossover of our respective poems.
He prefers going by the pseudonym Nameless.

Courtesy never abandons, manners never faulter,
It happened only once when I saw the prince at the alter.
It's forbidden for me to see
as tradition follows us to be,
At the other end of the castle,
doing dishes, plates and folding tassells.

Forgetting all lessons, I was desperate for a view,
Of the golden boy holding the crown that was fairly new.
I stumbled across the hallway, he saw me thick and through.

'Oh Jesus! Show some mercy I don't want to be screwed'
'Relax, hold it still' said the prince like an American dude.
My fantasy broke into pieces,
unfortunately my coffee had brewed.

He was no prince nor I a chambermaid,
Cinderella already used that plot to get laid.
Sadly I was the girl he somewhat sees
He thinks I am way out of his league.

***

Never has there been such a feat,
My heart skipped a beat.

Except for once,
When I saw the princess while baking buns.

A beautiful face with long black hair,
Her skin, fairer than fair.

Laying out the silver ware,
As I had a meal to prepare.

Our interaction was never meant,
She a princess, I her servant.

Her face occupied my mind,
Forgot the wheat was in the grind.

Finally the meal was complete,
A variety of bread, salad and meat.

I plated on the silver ware,
Oh, her face, those black hair!

The footman wasn't quite well so I had to serve,
For that I gathered up all my nerve.

On the way I saw nothing but her,
Thought of some words to make her purr.

For being so lost,
I soon had to pay the cost.

I stumbled, the food came crashing down.

'Oh Jesus! Show some mercy I don't want to be screwed'

Along with the food, came out loud screams,
And there she was, the lady of my dreams.

Looking at me with a puzzled expression,
A face so pure,
I was way out of her league for sure.
