Retribution of Lies *100th Post*
“Stronger than lover's love is lover's hate. Incurable, in each, the wounds they make.”
― Euripides, Medea
All promises they'd made,
Were part of the big charade.
The beautiful wedding dress,
Turned into a shroud of unhappiness.
She looked into his eyes,
Found nothing but a bunch of lies.
Love was no fool's game,
And yet she had fallen again.
The devil's deed wasn't to be forgiven,
It was his doom that had risen.
Betrayal caused her extreme pain,
Vengeance surged through her veins.
On her conquest to destroy others,
She forgot what it was to be together.
A daunting devil's gaze,
She couldn't believe it was her own face.
Alas, things forged a clear capture
She knew it was time for departure.
