‘Thanks for coming’ Shashrek said

‘I had to, you needed to talk and I had to apologise for what I said earlier. I never meant to force you I mean okay, I didn’t expect such reaction from you but that was my bad…’

‘Exactly, I didn’t expect such a reaction from myself too, I am extremely sorry for my actions’ Shashrek confessed.

‘C’mon it all happened in the past, let us just forget it’ Myra said

‘No, I was thinking maybe we could still have a chance’

‘What?’

‘Yes, I mean if you still think we could, then maybe’

‘You are actually considering my idea Shashrek? Are you alright?’

‘I am perfectly fine, but what do I have to do’

‘But you said that you don’t like me that way, so why even bother trying?’

‘See, I was not in my senses that time, I still don’t like you that way. But if you do, then I don’t mind trying, I mean how bad could it possibly end?’

‘Ouch, that hurts’ Myra thought, but didn’t say.

‘Yeah, how bad’ she tried to laugh.

‘But are you hundred per cent sure of this?’ Myra asked again

‘Yes, now what is the next move?’

‘Okay, so the plan is of six month compatibility test. For the first three months you are going to live with me and the last three months I am going to live with you, but there are terms. We still have chances to fall for others, that is actually a term just for you, because you have the right to be with someone else and stuff’

‘What is the living part?’ Shashrek asked innocently

‘We will have separate rooms’ Myra cleared

‘Oh…’Shashrek said

‘It’s for you to just see that how I live and for me to see how you live, you have no right to infiltrate in my privacy though’

‘Same rule applies for you too right?

‘Yes, but can we agree that we will tell others secret to each other?’

‘Yes, we can. We need to build trust in each other, yes fine with me’

Shashrek was ready for it, Myra was happy too, Shashrek actually agreed to whatever she said. Shashrek decided to move in the following week. When Myra informed her parents about this, they really didn’t mind, they just asked her to be careful.

Tara out of all seemed to be the happiest person with Myra’s accomplishment.

‘Do you think he will fall for me?’

‘Off course he will, why do you doubt that?’

‘Because he said that he doesn’t like me that way’

‘Uski... Don’t worry he does, if he didn’t then why would he agree to what you said. He is no fool to accept such terms like that. By the way what have you planned for him?’

‘Plans? What plans?’

‘Means for three months are you going to bore him with your compulsive attitude and confused behaviour?’

‘No, but that is me, and we have to know each other’

‘Myra those are aspects that can be taken in the negative side, show your positive side. You are an amazing cook and an expert when it comes to flavours and “a way to a man’s heart, is through his stomach”’

‘So I should cook more often and let him enjoy’ Myra concluded.

‘Hmm…for the time he is staying with you, then yes’ Tara said

Myra took Tara’s advice very seriously. She practiced her best dishes; all was going well for her. With being a good cook, she was a good housekeeper too, her house was always spic and span. Something she inherited from her mother. ‘What if he is a complete mess?’ she thought.

‘Myra, don’t think too much’ she advised herself.

While Myra was trying to put her best efforts, Shashrek was no less. He wanted to make sure that Myra finds him absolutely perfect.

‘But why should I do that? I mean she is the one who likes me; I should let her know my true side so that she can judge me on correct basis’ he thought and he was right on this decision. He didn’t tell his parents about Myra but he did tell his sister about her.  

 ‘So do you like this girl?’ his sister asked

‘Honestly, I am confused. She is definitely a good person, well natured and stuff and I am quite comfortable around her, it is like I can be “me” and the best part, we both were in the same school. She was just a year junior to me’ Shashrek answered

‘What? Wow, that is some coincidence, tell me all about it’

And Shashrek let his sister know every single detail about his and Myra’s relationship.

‘I think she is perfect for you, it is high time that you settle with someone’

‘Let’s hope for the best Sonali’
