When Mom Decides A Break: Something you must avoid

After a tiring week, when you have the opportunity to relish the good breakfast made by your loving mom everything seems perfect. Well I think I asked a bit too much because this idea of a perfect Saturday morning was ruined when my mother decided to take a break from the daily breakfast making. The reason why my mom was acting like this was because of my sister’s itouch. Apple is amazing we all agree with that but beware never let your mother get that thing in her hand because you might land in the same fate that I just did this morning.
Now, my little sister decided to make the breakfast for today that too ‘Canadian Pancakes’. I wished for a bad stomach so that I could get away from eating that soon to be a disaster, but alas nothing happened. Vernica (my sister) was already in the kitchen going through the recipe. She comes and asks me about the difference between 1tsp and 1tbsp. I don’t know it myself how am I supposed to help her? Without any second thoughts I said they were just about the same. Wait, she didn’t trust me for that and asked mom about it, and obviously mom told her the difference.
She gave me a look as if I was an idiot knowing nothing. I ignored her as usual. After a good half an hour effort she presented me a good well shaped pancake with maple syrup! Something which was beyond my expectations, well I never had any expectations. ‘We eat with our eyes’ actually stands true, I ate the pancake and to my surprise it was the first eatable thing that Vernica cooked all by herself. My little sister made me proud but this joy did not last for many minutes, the second pancake was a disappointment so I left it, but I am happy that she tried.
