Till Death Do Us Apart Part 2

Brief about Agent X8 (not so known Ayan):
CIA Agent: Information Technology Dept. Underground as previous mission failed.

Ayan was alive, not many were aware of the truth; Shanaya never knew her husband's secret assignments, and all she knew was that he used to leave the country frequently for work. Ayan was involved in the making of a confidential programme. He was caught stealing classified information from his employer.
The people who he was working for (The CIA) decided to keep him under the wraps as they couldn't afford to lose such a valuable man. For this Ayan had to agree to some policies.

The Policies:
Remove all family connections. (Involved the faking of death)
Participate in the training camp for further missions.
Resume field work as soon as the new identity has been made.
It was tough for Ayan to choose but by accepting these policies his family was guaranteed safety and protection from the people who wanted him killed.

Miranda Price, senior officer and on-field agent manager. She had taken the responsibility of Ayan and wanted him up and about so that he could resume his work.
Brief about Miranda Price:
Ex- on-field agent specializes in field training, in service for the past 20 years, family died in a car crash, recruited Ayan 4 years ago.

Meanwhile, when Shanaya was getting ahead in life, she received a phone call from a mysterious caller. The caller said that it was regarding her late husband & mentioned that it was something to do with money. Shanaya had no choice but to meet him. Shanaya met the man, he introduced himself as John Sullivan, he claimed that Ayan was on a project with his company and had delivered their company a very good software programme. He offered Shanaya a cheque of two million dollars saying that it was the fee guaranteed to him for his services and as he passed away it belonged to his family. Shanaya was confused and happy, confused because Ayan never told her about this project and happy as she could now payback all her family loans on time. She thanked John and he bid her good bye.
Shanaya informed her family in India about her financial recovery. She decided to give half the sum to her in-laws as they had been like a rock for her.
One day while buying some groceries, she bumped into a man. She moved on with her stuff but the man kept on watching her. He even followed her secretly to her house. The man was none other than Ayan, disguised.
Ayan was puzzled; millions of questions rose and in his mind and was his wife pregnant? Then it struck him, the person behind all this could be none other but Miranda. The very next day he asked her about his wife. Why was she in New York? Who got her there? Did she know?  Miranda explained that they had guaranteed her safety to Ayan which could only be possible if she was right under their eyes. Also the money promised to him was given to her through John Sullivan.
When Ayan asked Miranda about his wife being pregnant, she went blank. She knew it all that time but could never tell Ayan as she thought that he might get distracted and wouldn’t cooperate. But the truth was out, Ayan felt guilty. He started to blame himself for the damage of everything, the fact that he had abandoned his wife and unborn baby had crushed him.
Miranda tried to calm him but he wouldn’t listen, the thing Miranda feared had happened.
For the next couple of days Ayan felt helpless, deep within he knew that he had to be with Shanaya but then he also admitted that by just controlling his feelings he might be able to give Shanaya protection and a life. One day he just couldn’t control his feelings and approached her while she was buying her stuff. But while on his way he was stopped by Miranda, who had kept a strict eye on him since the day he had known the truth. She told him about the seriousness of the situation and begged him to control his emotions.
Ayan was furious but he had no other option but to obey her.
While training, Ayan spotted a young girl. He asked about her from his colleague. She was known as Agent Mist, newly recruited from the minor section. Ayan observed her for many days; she was good at shooting and excellent in fighting.
He managed to have a polite conversation with her and to him she seemed a nice girl. Within days she became his good friend. Miranda was aware of Ayan’s friendship with Agent Mist and thought that he decided to move on. But Ayan had different plans. As Mist was a minor she wasn’t allowed field work, Ayan had the perfect opportunity. He told Mist about Shanaya and their unborn child. While listening to his story, Mist felt sorry for him. Taking the opportunity he asked for her help. ‘How?’ she asked. ‘By spying on her’ he said.
