C'est la vie (I)
This year is too close to its end. And then I turned a year older recently. Couldn't help asking myself 'What did I do?' Or didn't do. Anyway, too much time has been lost wondering. I have a whole new concept in my head and I am going to begin.
She Thought.
She pulled out a single hair, feeling the weightlessness of it. She wanted to feel the same way. A superior emotion of ecstasy. What was stopping her? A narrow conscience perhaps. She walked back alone. She shouldn't have when it's already past eight. It was cold and dark, nobody without intention would notice her. A car stopped right in front. A handsome looking man stepped out and she knew. It was over after all. The euphoria may have lasted for some hours in her head but the pain was real. He sat in silence. The car stopped again, this time at her house.
'Don't come back' he said.
She couldn't believe his words. She was free.
What Happened?
He came closer. He said words she didn't quite understand. And she didn't have to. That's not what she was paid for. Night after night, she had the same dream. She thought but nothing more.
